Chartering/Operations Manager

Chartering/Operations Manager of sea/river vessels DW 5000-35000

- Day to day operation of allocated voyages for time chartered and spot chartered vessels

- Daily preparing of the Ship’s Positions List

- Purchasing of bunker supplies, finding the optimum price level in consistence with deciding on bunker supply port

- Issuing of Voyage Orders (including load and discharge instructions)

- Demurrage claims handling

- Requesting PDA from ship agents for subject operations or port calls, making negotiations and nominating of ship agents

- Checking Bills of Lading draft on behalf of Masters, prior vessel's arrival at loading ports

- Deliver the principles of Total Voyage Management to maximize commercial success

- Providing detailed analytical assessments on a regular basis of performed voyages

- Handling of any claims which represent a non-conformity to T/C i.e. speed/performance and bunker

- Conclusive checking of agent’s final disbursement accounts and invoices;

- Assisting Chartering Department for readiness of vessels to their next voyage, considering their tank cleaning and slop disposal plans

- Monitoring financial covenants of charterparties

- Controlling and handling of freight and other invoices

- Post voyage feedback to Traders

- supervision of cargo operations in port;
